These cookies are created by the Bread Project, a California-based non-profit culinary training institution that empowers individuals with limited means by providing them with career training. The Bread Project provides rigorous hands-on instruction in all kinds of baking techniques, as well as teaching interviewing skills and providing resume writing seminars to prepare their students for meaningful, long-term employment.
